Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in state. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or public personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to post instructions.
  • Support a courteous environment for employees, visitors, and members of the public while following Allied Universal standards and client-directed protocols.
