About The Position

As a Security Guard Hospital Screening Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations while reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
