As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare facilities, helping to deter security-related incidents while promoting a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to engage directly with people and support a secure environment through teamwork and integrity-driven service.

Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and communicating with relevant parties as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site policies.
