As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while responding to various security-related needs. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and disturbances within the facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for patients and staff.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
Assist with visitor management, including verifying credentials and directing individuals as needed within the healthcare facility.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
