As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout a government location. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with security-related procedures and protocols relevant to a government location.
