Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols within a government location. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment. You will interact with the public, respond to situations as they arise, and demonstrate Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity throughout your daily responsibilities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Document and report any observed irregularities or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency personnel when assistance is required.
Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Remain alert and observant while on duty, adapting to changing conditions as needed.
