Requirements

Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
Ability to work in hospital morgue environments is required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while upholding the standards and expectations of Allied Universal.
Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific guidelines.
