As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, visitors, and patients as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual activity, or unauthorized persons, following Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control and visitor management, monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or incidents, in accordance with healthcare facility procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary.
