As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with residents, guests, and site teams, document observations, and respond to calls for service with professionalism. Requirements
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access control guidelines, and security-related protocols.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor access when required, and assist with directing deliveries and contractors per property procedures.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, escalating maintenance or security-related concerns through the appropriate channels.
