As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and provide clear directions or assistance to visitors and personnel.
  • Document patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and interactions in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting standards.
