As a Security Guard Full Time Driver Patrol Response in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical/petrochemical facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through clear, timely reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
