About The Position

As a Security Guard Full Time Dispatch Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely response to security-related needs. You will help maintain situational awareness, assist with incident reporting, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting a professional environment. Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or callers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, access concerns, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communication systems, alarm activity, and/or camera feeds as assigned; maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift activity records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the business perimeter when directed, reporting observed conditions and/or concerns.
