This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

A current guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor traffic, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.
Support daily property operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with routine inquiries, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related concerns noticed during patrols.
