Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, entrances, and common areas, while reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and directing individuals to appropriate hospital departments or services.
Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
