About The Position

As a Security Guard Driver Patrol Presence in SALINAS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
