About The Position

Palisade Defense Security is seeking a professional and dependable Security Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the central point of communication between field officers, supervisors, clients, and management. You will be responsible for coordinating security operations, monitoring officer activity, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely responses to incidents and client needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and organizational skills, remains calm under pressure, and demonstrates a high level of professionalism and integrity. Candidates must be willing and able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Nevada PILB License #2950

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn security software systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Security Dispatcher, Security Officer, Call Center Representative, Customer Service Representative, or related position.
  • Experience with TrackTik or similar workforce management software.
  • Experience monitoring surveillance systems and security cameras.
  • Knowledge of public safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch security officers to assigned locations and service calls.
  • Maintain regular communication with field officers and supervisors.
  • Monitor officer activity through TrackTik and other security management systems.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and security systems as assigned.
  • Receive and document calls regarding incidents, emergencies, and client requests.
  • Coordinate responses to suspicious activity, emergencies, and service-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs), dispatch logs, and incident reports.
  • Report security concerns, incidents, and operational issues to management.
  • Ensure all shifts are properly staffed and communicate scheduling concerns when necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, officers, and the public.
