As a Security Guard - Armed Store Patrol in Bellaire, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle, as you respond promptly to incidents and interact with visitors and staff. Requirements

Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas of the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Work collaboratively with location staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol and maintain readiness to respond to incidents as required by post orders.
