As a Security Guard Armed Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
  • Possess a Private Investigator License, Armed, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and first responders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and assist with directing individuals in accordance with facility policies.
  • Prepare accurate reports and documentation for incidents, observations, patrol activity, and other security-related matters.
