Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess Level III Armed Certification for positions in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff, customers, and visitors.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft and/or other incidents.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Work collaboratively with store management and local authorities as needed, adhering to company and site protocols.
Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and equipment, following all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.
