As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or patrol activity, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site representatives.
