About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Services in Highlands Ranch, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
Follow all protocols for handling security-related incidents, including documenting events and communicating with law enforcement when necessary.
Operate communication devices and security-related equipment as required for the post.
