About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Response in Morganton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering a dynamic environment where teamwork, integrity, and our people-first culture are valued every day.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter and report suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as required by site-specific protocols.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Follow all site-specific procedures while carrying and maintaining assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
