About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Operations in Salisbury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help control entry and maintain a secure environment.
Report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential disturbances.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Follow all instructions regarding the handling and carrying of firearms as required for armed posts.
