About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Operations Government in Coral Gables, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help maintain a secure environment.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Maintain awareness of the surroundings and promptly address any security-related concerns.
Carry and operate a firearm in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.
