As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and proactive approach. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Carry a firearm in accordance with applicable laws and Allied Universal protocols for armed posts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interior and perimeter.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unwanted behavior.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
