As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor for and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the utilities environment.
Maintain a visible presence and interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors as required.
Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific protocols, while performing assigned duties.
Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as needed.
Document all incidents and/or activities according to site and company requirements.
