As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the location.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report security-related incidents according to established protocols.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and/or emergency services during incidents as required.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as directed by Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Adhere to all site-specific guidelines regarding the use of firearms and other security-related equipment.
