Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Manufacturing Patrol in Reno, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with individuals to provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service to clients and visitors within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, maintaining awareness of surroundings while on patrol.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, collaborating with site personnel and emergency responders.
Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, contractors, and/or visitors at the location.
