As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service while patrolling retail locations. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to remain visible and interact with the public to foster a secure environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the retail location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to employees and patrons.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and/or law enforcement as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal policies.
Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures while carrying out armed patrol duties.
