As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may require an armed security presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business interior and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols or assigned duties.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and law enforcement as required while maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
Support Allied Universal management and fellow team members by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
