As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrols Team in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and foster a sense of security for staff and visitors.
Operate communication devices and complete required documentation and incident reports accurately.
Follow established protocols for access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
