About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrols in Morganton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help control entry and exit at the location.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with local staff and law enforcement when required, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal policies.
