As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Edinburgh, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout a government location. This role includes armed responsibilities and driving as part of your daily duties. You will engage with the community, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to a secure environment. Requirements

A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
A minimum of one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support site order.
Conduct regular and random patrols inside the premises and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and offer assistance to personnel and visitors as appropriate.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related breaches in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate promptly with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required, following established procedures for armed security roles.
Complete required documentation and reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
