As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed post requires you to support a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disturbances within the location.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify and respond to potential security-related concerns within the government facility.
