As a Security Guard Armed Credentialing Driving Role in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will manage access control, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established procedures.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access at assigned entry points, direct individuals to appropriate locations, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
