About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Front Desk Access Control Security Officer! What matters most in a role like this is your professional presence and sharp eye at the front desk. Tell us about how you deliver great customer service while keeping every entrance secure. As a Security Officer - Access Control, you will be the first face people see when they walk through the door. Whether it’s greeting visitors, checking IDs, issuing badges, or monitoring cameras from the desk, we need you to stay alert, organized, and in control of who comes and goes.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Comfortable with computers, phones, and access control systems
• Strong attention to detail and report writing skills
• You have a state license if required

Nice To Haves

• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement, or front desk experience - even better!

Responsibilities

• Staff the front desk and serve as the main point of entry for the site
• Greet employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a professional manner
• Verify identities and credentials before granting access
• Issue and track visitor badges and maintain accurate sign-in logs
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems from the desk
• Answer phones and direct calls, deliveries, and inquiries as needed
• Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, or potential threats
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
