Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify visitors, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence, clear communication, and dependable service, while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related matters.
