About The Position

Lockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS) Program Security and Compliance is seeking a Security Generalist to support the F-35 security operations at MCAS Miramar, CA. This role is crucial in safeguarding sensitive information and warfighting capabilities, ensuring a safe and secure operating environment for military personnel. The position operates in a fast-paced, real-world environment, requiring the use of extensive education and experience, along with Lockheed Martin's resources, to protect critical capabilities. The role primarily supports first shift but may require flexibility for other shifts, including weekends, due to the dynamic nature of flying operations and pilot training. Occasional business travel, including deployments to arduous or austere locations, may be required. A Top Secret/SCI clearance will be required in the future.

Requirements

Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.
Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment.
Experience working in a military environment, specifically the USMC or Navy.
Prior experience working with and implementing Standard Operating Procedures, Security Plans, and Operations.
Knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
Experience providing briefings and/or training.
Experience with DISS.

Responsibilities

Assist instructors, students, and visitors using facilities.
Operate badging and access control systems.
Monitor security camera systems.
Perform random entry/exit searches.
Enforce all DoN, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities.
Control access to secure facilities.
Handle and store classified documents and electronic media.
Monitor compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC.
Provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers.
Change combinations and generate SF 700s.
Assist in self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections.
Perform and document vault alarm tests.
Assist in security inquiries.
Provide collateral security support.
Assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Pilot Training Center (PTC).
Perform additional duties as required/assigned.
