About The Position

We are a team of security professionals responsible for developing, administering, and auditing security programs that protect classified material and export-controlled data. We work closely with government customers at MCAS Beaufort, SC to ensure compliance with federal security regulations and implement security solutions that meet customer needs while minimizing risk. Our team members serve as Security Representatives, providing support for Special Access Programs (SAPs), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs, and DOD collateral classified programs associated with the F-35. We study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (DoD Manual 5205.07 and JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or DOD security rules (NISPOM). We also develop and conduct security education classes, investigate security violations, and provide support for classified meetings and customer visits. Requirements

  • Final transferable SECRET clearance with closed investigation date within 5 years or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program with the ability to maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI if/when mission requirements dictate.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Experience providing oversight to multi-functions of security, such as Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA).
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.7, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
  • Experience working on Special Access Programs.
  • Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarization with Defense Information Security System (DISS).
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience authoring Standard Operating Procedures / Facility Operating Procedures (SOP / FOP) documents.
  • Knowledge and experience executing Self-Inspections (SI) and executing preparations for Higher Headquarters Compliance Inspection.
  • Authoring Corrective Action Plans and tracking closeout actions for inspection reports.
  • Knowledge of F-35 Program Security requirements.
  • Prior experience as a CSSO, GSSO, PSO, PSM, ASM, or PSR.
  • Experience with conducting thorough investigations of security violations and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Prior experience with GSA containers and document control.
  • Experience working in a dynamic military environment and being able to successfully interact daily with senior ranking military officers, enlisted and key GOV stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism.
  • Comfortable making decisions autonomously and successfully operating in a military flying operations environment.
  • Access Control and Physical Security experience.

Responsibilities

  • Controlling and managing unclassified and classified material.
  • Providing physical security for multiple Special Access Program Facilities.
  • Controlling access and badging to all F-35 areas in specified facilities.
  • Providing escort services when required.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of program security operations and procedures related to Special Access Program Facilities.
  • Aiding and supporting classified meetings.
  • Providing security briefings as necessary.
  • Managing personnel files, including visitor access requests, program access requests, and file reviews.
  • Performing other security duties as necessary.
  • Providing support to other Special Access Programs Facilities as needed.
  • Developing and conducting security education classes.
  • Investigating security violations.
  • Providing support for classified meetings and customer visits.
