About The Position

DSI Security Services is seeking a Security Flex Officer to support multiple client locations across the Streamwood, Joliet, and Romeoville area. This is a multi-site position requiring the selected officer to travel between these locations based on operational needs. The role is considered full-time, with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week. The Security Flex Officer will provide coverage for various situations such as call-offs, vacations, open shifts, and special assignments, playing a critical role in maintaining staffing stability and supporting regional operational needs. Requirements

Reliable transportation (travel between sites is required)
Must be able to cover Streamwood, Joliet, and Romeoville locations
Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different post assignments
Minimum 21 years of age
Valid Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable means of communication
Basic to intermediate computer skills
Ability to conduct patrols and work in various weather conditions
Must pass all pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

Provide security coverage at multiple client sites as assigned
Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
Observe, report, and respond to incidents and suspicious activity
Follow all DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees
