About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a flexible response security officer to work at different locations and cover varying shifts as needed. The officer may fill in for call-offs and vacations or provide additional coverage. Applicants must be available any day of the week and for day, swing, or overnight shifts; schedules may vary from week to week. The position is located in Santa Barbara, California, and pays $22.25 per hour. Guard-card support may be available during the hiring process, including help with certification costs. A uniform is provided at no cost. The role also offers access to campus amenities and opportunities for career development and networking.

Requirements

• Be willing and able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, and any shift (day, swing, or overnight); shifts may vary from week to week.
• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to identify suspicious activity.
