As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and team members, support access control, and conduct screening and inspection procedures to help reduce security-related incidents. You will monitor activity, document findings, communicate clearly, and respond with a calm, service-focused approach. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with opportunities to deliver agile, reliable service through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, and drivers at entry points by verifying identification, checking credentials, and controlling access in accordance with site requirements.
• Inspect inbound and outbound packages, trailers, and shipments as directed to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized removal of property.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and loading dock activity to identify irregular conditions and report concerns through established communication channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document events, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
