As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing location, including production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized activity, and/or policy violations.
  • Support daily operations by observing for hazards, equipment issues, and/or operational disruptions that could impact the location, and share timely information with supervisors and designated site personnel.
