About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Services officer for an assigned site in Dallas, Texas. The position provides a designated weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours can vary based on extra shifts, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The role conducts unarmed patrols at a logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter. Pay is $18.03 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter of a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities according to site-specific procedures.
