EMR is seeking a reliable and experienced Security & Fire Officer to support our headquarters and operational sites across Camden, NJ. This role combines control room monitoring and active field patrols, offering a dynamic work environment applying your security knowledge and acumen.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
2–5+ years of security experience (industrial, logistics, or yard environments a plus)
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
Clear communication and report-writing ability
Comfortable using surveillance systems and basic technology

Responsibilities

Monitor alarms and respond to calls from security and fire monitoring systems
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols at EMR headquarters and multiple sites throughout Camden, NJ
Perform routine and random checks to ensure site safety, security, and fire prevention
Monitor CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or hazards
Respond to incidents, assess situations, and escalate appropriately
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when needed
Maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activity
Support overall site safety and security operations
