We are currently hiring for an Installation Technician in our Fishkill, NY branch.
Requirements
- 2+ years of low-voltage installation experience preferred (trainees considered)
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Experience installing security, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, or intercom systems
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and wiring
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel locally within the Fishkill region
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 and/or NICET certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Install and configure electronic security systems including intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and network-based intercom systems
- Run and terminate low-voltage wiring
- Install devices including keypads, cameras, sensors, panels, and access control hardware
- Program and configure systems for proper functionality
- Perform system testing and commissioning
- Educate customers on system operation and features
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality expectations
