About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Security Field Supervisor! Ready to suit up as a Security Field Supervisor? What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail. As a Security Field Supervisor, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months in a security leadership position required
  • Must have an active driver's license
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • Must have a current BSIS issued Security License (Guard Card) and additional 32 hr. security trainings. (Additional security trainings may be obtained during the onboarding process)

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of security industry experience is preferred
  • If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

Responsibilities

  • Supervise operations such as training new officers, doing post checks, scheduling to make sure the site has zero dark posts, direct, supervise, and support shift officers.
  • Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors.
  • Manage access control and be ready to respond to any operational emergency and insure timely response, timely and efficient communications and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure that operational logs, records and post orders are maintained appropriately.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with client and employees and serve as the liaison between GardaWorld, our client, and our assigned staff.
  • Maintain goal of zero safety incidents, while at the same time managing a robust safety culture and a robust safety program that is appropriate to the operating environments.
  • Responsible for corrective action and discipline of subordinate officers (up to formal warnings) and recommending and participating in other disciplinary decisions up to and including termination.
  • Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
  • Supervise & manage employees on your shift at your assigned job site.
  • Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client at the assigned site.
  • Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
  • Answer questions in person or by phone.
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
