About The Position

Shields Point, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has an opportunity for a Part-Time Security Escort responsible for controlling access to classified areas and maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises and personnel. This role involves securing the premises and personnel by controlling access to the classified building, inspecting personal belongings and incoming equipment, monitoring access points, and permitting entry to qualified personnel. The Security Escort will report irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures, and forbid entry to trespassers. Additionally, the role includes escorting construction personnel and remaining on-site while they work, as well as maintaining situational awareness of Base & USAF Security postures (Force-con, Info-con, etc.). This position contributes to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as directed.

Requirements

2 years security experience
HS diploma or GED
Eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Knowledge of DoD and USSF Security directives, policies, & procedures

Responsibilities

Control access to classified area.
Maintain secure environment by monitoring premises and personnel.
Secure premises and personnel by controlling access to classified building.
Inspect personal belongings & incoming equipment.
Monitor access points; permitting entry to qualified personnel.
Report irregularities.
Inform violators of policy and procedures.
Forbid entry to trespassers.
Escort construction personnel, remaining on-site while they work.
