About The Position
Omni-Serv is seeking Part-Time licensed Security Professionals to provide security coverage for construction enclosures within the terminal areas of Orlando International Airport. The Security Escort is responsible for escorting and monitoring non-badged visitors, contractors, and authorized personnel within restricted and secure areas of Orlando International Airport (MCO). This role helps maintain the security of airport facilities by ensuring individuals always follow access requirements and security procedures. The position requires strict adherence to airport and company security regulations to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Class D (Unarmed) Security Officer License
- Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- Ability to understand and convey information accurately in English, both verbally and in writing
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Be available to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous security, airport, and customer service experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Escorting all non-badge visitors, personnel, and/or contractors performing work in secure areas of the airport as directed by the supervisor
- Supervising the movement of tools and materials being brought into controlled access areas, ensuring all items are cleared by designated security personnel before entry
- Ensuring access points are secured
- Continuously monitoring escorted individuals, preventing unauthorized access to secured areas
- Reporting any security concerns, policy violations, or suspicious activities
