Be hands on in pre-sales activity and manage a team of security engineers. Provide technical pre sales assistance for customers and or partners. Develop existing and new accounts in conjunction with sales reps. Coach and mentor the SE team. Provide Technical Product and solution presentations. Active participation in IT security events and trade shows as a speaker. Develop a solution by translating a customer’s business requirements into an integrated technical solution. Technically close complex and competitive opportunities, through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill and credibility. Identify revenue impacting support escalations and engage proactively with required parties (internal / external) to ensure timely resolution and satisfactory resolution. Proactively engage and communicate with Product Management, Business units, Sales and Marketing. Broad understanding of Security Threat Landscape / IT Security industry, past, present and future.
